The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the death of a motorcyclist in Tara this afternoon.
Preliminary inquires indicate around 12.15pm the motorcyclist was riding a white 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 travelling north along Tara Kogan Road near Arnolds Road when he has left the road and struck a tree.
The rider, a 31-year-old Tara man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision of the rider prior to the crash, or any witnesses that have not yet spoken with investigators to contact police.
