Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Oakey 9 June

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a woman died in a traffic crash at Oakey this afternoon.

Preliminary inquiries indicate a 1.55pm a car was headed west on the Warrego Highway when it has collided with a truck, near the intersection of Brimblecombe Road.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 68-year-old Kingsthorpe woman, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not physically injured.

Investigations are continuing.
