Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Douglas 27 July

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single vehicle traffic crash at Douglas this morning, July 27.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 3am, a car was travelling down University Drive when it struck a pole, causing a fire in the vehicle.

Upon arrival, the sole occupant was located deceased in the vehicle, and forensic examinations are underway to identify them.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing to anyone with information or relevant vision to contact police.
