Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bundaberg 28 July

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal crash in Bundaberg yesterday, July 27.

Initial investigations indicate around 2.40pm, a silver Holden Commodore was travelling on Gin Gin Road in South Kolan when it collided with a grey Chrysler 300c at the intersection with Lines Road.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 78-year-old Bullyard man, and the driver of the Holden Commodore, a 55-year-old Bundaberg Park Village man, both died at the scene.

The passenger of the Chrysler, a 75-year-old Bullyard woman, was transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
