Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Rosedale

A child has died following a single-vehicle crash at Rosedale overnight, August 21.

Initial investigations indicate around 7.30pm, a Mitsubishi ASX was travelling along Lowmead Road before leaving the roadway and crashing.

Despite efforts by bystanders and emergency services, a three-year-old passenger of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.

The 38-year-old female driver of the vehicle was taken to Bundaberg Hospital with minor injuries.

An eight-month-old passenger was not injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
