Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bonogin 25 August

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash at Bonogin in the early hours of Sunday, August 25.

Initial investigations indicate a Mitsubishi Pajero was travelling eastbound on Bonogin Road around 12.45am, when it left the road and rolled onto its roof.

Five men, all aged in their 20s, were inside the vehicle at the time.

The driver, a 21-year-old Mudgeeraba man, died at the scene.

The four passengers were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information that can assist police with their investigations, is urged to come forward.
