Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Coulson

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in Coulson, south of Ipswich, this morning, October 10.

Initial investigations indicate just after 8am, a Holden Barina was travelling along Beaudesert Boonah Road when it veered onto the wrong side of the road and struck a Honda CR-V and LDV Maxus T60 utility, travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Holden Barina, a 35-year-old Russell Island man, was declared deceased at the scene.

No one else was physically injured.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.
