Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Oxford

A 46-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash at Strathfield this morning, October 28.

Initial investigations indicate the man was travelling east along Peak Downs Highway before being struck from the rear by a white side tipping truck turning onto the highway.

Emergency crews were called to the crash shortly at around 8.33am.

The rider, a 46-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not physically injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information or dashcam footage that can assist investigations, to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
