Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Thagoona

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a two-vehicle crash at Thagoona, west of Ipswich, this afternoon, November 16.

At approximately 4:30pm, a red Holden Commodore and a red Honda Jazz were involved in a serious traffic crash on Karrabin Rosewood Road.

The driver of the Holden Commodore, a 19-year-old woman, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Honda Jazz, a 78-year-old woman, died at the scene.

Police are appealing to witnesses, or anyone with relevant vision, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing to determine the cause of the crash.
