Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle-crash which occurred in Adare this afternoon, December 20.
At 1.15pm, a Toyota Rav 4 and a Honda CRV were travelling in opposite directions on the Warrego Highway in Adare, near Gatton, when they collided.
A 61-year-old Kleinton woman, a rear passenger of the Honda CRV, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 21-year-old Honda CRV driver and the 68-year-old male front passenger were transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment.
The Toyota Rav 4 driver, a 78-year-old Wilsonton man, was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment.
A 73-year-old female, the Rav 4 front seat passenger, was airlifted to Princess Alexadra Hospital. A 12-year-old girl back seat passenger was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital and a 10-year-old girl back seat passenger was airlifted to Brisbane Childrens Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
