Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Rangeville

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Rangeville yesterday, January 22.

Just before 12pm, a yellow Suzuki motorbike travelling on Long Street has collided with a white Subaru VX.

The motorbike rider, a 44-year-old Newtown man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 64-year-old East Toowoomba woman, was not physically injured.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether speed was a factor, are continuing.

Any witnesses, or anyone with relevant vision of the motorbike prior to the crash is urged to contact police.
