Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Manly West

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Manly West today Wednesday, February 5.

About 3:45 pm, police were called to an address on Manly Road, Manly West, following reports of a single vehicle traffic crash.

Initial investigations indicate a blue Ford Falcon has left the road where it has crashed into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford, a 27-year-old Capalaba man, sustained life-threatening injuries. Despite best efforts from emergency services rendering aid, he was declared deceased at the scene.

No other persons were injured as a result of the crash.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and police appeal to anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
