A 69-year-old Mackay man has died following a single vehicle crash at Valkyrie, south of Mackay, this morning March 8.
Emergency services were called just before 8am, following reports a truck had crashed into a tree on Fitzroy Developmental Road.
The driver and sole occupant was declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
