A rider has died following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash in Hawthorne tonight, March 23.
Around 7.40pm, a motorcycle was travelling south on Hawthorne Road when it left the roadway and crashed into a parked and unoccupied utility.
The rider, an 18-year-old Fortitude Valley man, died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are underway.
