The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Glenorchy (Wide Bay Burnett) yesterday, March 27.
At approximately 4pm, a white Isuzu D-Max travelling north on the Bruce Highway has collided with a grey Toyota Hilux travelling south near Six Mile Road.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota Hilux, a 56-year-old Owanyilla man, died at the scene.
A 70-year-old Caboolture man, the driver and sole occupant of the Isuzu D-Max, was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
