Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bald Hills 14 April

A woman has died following a fatal three-vehicle traffic crash in Bald Hills last night, April 13.

Initial investigations indicate around 9.40pm, a Hyundai Imax and Honda Odyssey were stationary in the shoulder of the right lane on Gympie Arterial Road when a Toyota Hiace van crashed into the vehicles from behind.

The woman, an occupant of the Honda Odyssey, died at the scene.

Ten people were transported to hospital for treatment for various injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the moments leading up to the crash, or anyone with dashcam footage, to contact investigators.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
