A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Cooktown this morning.
At 10.35am a 4WD travelling along Mulligan Highway, 35 kilometres north of Lakeland, has left the roadway and rolled.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 75-year-old Cooktown man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the traffic crash are continuing.
