Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash at Fiery Creek, east of Nebo, early this morning.
Initial investigations indicate that around 1.30am, a Grey dual cab utility travelling west on the Peak Downs Highway collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
Emergency services attended the scene and located the driver and sole occupant of the utility, a 35-year-old Clermont man.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 42-year-old Mirani man, sustained minor injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
