A woman has died following a serious traffic crash between a truck and a car in Inkerman last night.
At about 8.20pm, a b-double truck and a car collided on the Bruce Highway near Fredericksfield Road.
The driver of the car and sole occupant, a 51-year-old Bowen woman, was declared deceased at the scene.
The truck driver, a 67-year-old Kilcoy man did not receive any injuries.
The Bruce Highway was closed in both directions and reopened just before 4am (March 31).
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate.
