The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a woman died in a single-vehicle crash on the Moonie Highway this morning.
At 8:50am, police were called to the scene, about eight kilometres west of Moonie, after reports a white Mitsubishi utility had rolled.
Initial investigations indicate the driver of this vehicle swerved to avoid wildlife.
Sadly, attempts to revive a 48-year-old woman from Dalyellup, Western Australia, were unsuccessful and she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 46-year-old man was airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Two juvenile passengers were also airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of minor lacerations.
The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for any witnesses to the crash, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the white utility before the crash, to contact police.
