Police are investigating after a man died following a traffic crash at Helensvale this afternoon.
Police were called to a service station at the intersection of Millaroo Drive and Millennium Circuit around 1pm in regard to a collision between a four-wheel-drive and an 87-year-old pedestrian.
The 87-year-old man suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
The 57-year-old male driver was uninjured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
