A single vehicle crash in Mackay last night claimed the life of a 58-year-old local man.
Preliminary information indicates the man was driving along Nebo Road in West Mackay when he crashed into the rear of a parked vehicle at around 8.15pm (May 24).
The man was treated at the scene before being transported to Mackay Base Hospital where he passed away.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
