Police are appealing for witnesses after a single vehicle traffic crash at Beachmere, on October 27.
Around 7.40pm, police were called to the scene on Bishop Road.
Initial investigations indicate a White Nissan Patrol had been travelling in a northerly direction, when the driver lost control and crashed through a fence, coming to a stop in a small dam.
The driver and sole occupant, a 17-year-old boy from Ningi was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for anyone who saw the car on Bishop Road prior to or after the crash to contact police.
Any witnesses who may have stopped and left the scene prior to police or emergency services arriving, are asked to contact police.
