Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Belcong

A man has died after a single motorcycle crash in the Central Highlands this morning.

Initial inquiries indicate around 9.30am the motorcyclist was travelling from Capella along Crinum Road towards Tieri and lost control for unknown reasons.

Despite emergency efforts, the 47-year-old Toowoomba man died at the scene.

Anyone with further information is urged to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
