Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Esk 11 April

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic crash at Esk overnight, April 10.

Initial investigations indicate that around 1:30am, a Toyota Camry sedan was travelling along the Brisbane Valley Highway near Falls Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree.

Emergency services were called a short time later, however the driver and single occupant of the vehicle, a 36-year-old Coverty woman, was declared deceased.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV/dashcam vision to come forward.

The Queensland Police Service is committed to reducing the number of lives lost on our roads.
