Police responding to fatal truck crash at Tamborine

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man died as a result of a truck crash at Tamborine, near Logan, earlier this morning (December 20).

Initial investigations indicate about 5.40am, a prime mover vehicle was travelling along Waterford Tamborine Road when it veered off the road and collided with a tree rolling down an embankment.

The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 33-year-old Flagstone man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or dash cam vision that may be able to assist with investigations to come forward.
