A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the State's south this morning.
About 4.00am today, (Friday 14 March 2025) emergency services were called to Snowy Mountains Highway at Bemboka following reports of a crash.
Officers attended and performed CPR on the driver of a truck – a man believed to be aged in his 30's – before the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics however but he died at the scene.
A crime scene was established and officers from South Coast Police District commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Snow Mountains Highway was blocked both north and southbound for some time while emergency services remained at the scene of the crash.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
