Emergency services are attending a single vehicle incident in Woodend that has left one person deceased.
It's believed a vehicle was travelling along South Rock Road just after 2.30pm when a tree has fallen onto the car.
The female passenger has died at the scene.
The male driver was conveyed to hospital for assessment with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to establish the exact circumstances around the crash and investigations are ongoing.
