Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Southport 26 July

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a serious traffic crash at Southport yesterday afternoon.

Around 4.30pm a black Kawasaki motorcycle being ridden by a 58-year-old Molendinar man and a white MG Hatchback being driven by a 45-year-old Robina woman were involved in a collision at Cotlew Street.

The male rider of the motorbike sustained serious head injuries and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

The female driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash.

Anyone who witnesses the crash or may have any dashcam or CCTV that could assist the investigation is asked to come forward.
