Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Gympie 5 October

The Sunshine Coast Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious single-vehicle traffic crash in Gympie overnight, October 4.

Just before 10pm, a red Mazda 121 was travelling on Neusavale Road in Wolvi when it left the road and crash into a tree.

The passenger of the vehicle, a 17-year-old Araluen boy, was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with life-threatening-injuries.

The driver, a 17-year-old Gympie boy, was not injured.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.
