Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Parkwood

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious traffic crash in Parkwood, Saturday, February 8.

Initial investigations indicate just before 4pm, a man had fallen from a white Nissan Navara travelling on Zoeller Road after riding on the bonnet of the vehicle.

The victim, an 20-year-old Parkwood man, was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old Oxenford man, is currently assisting police with inquiries.

Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing.
