Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Deagon

The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for any witnesses or dashcam vision of a serious traffic crash in Deagon yesterday afternoon, April 8, involving a car and a motorbike.

Around 4.20pm, a Toyota Hilux and a Harley Davidson Sportster collided in the northbound lanes of the Gateway Motorway, near the Deagon on ramp entrance.

The rider of the motorbike, a 53-year-old Caboolture man, suffered critical injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

The driver and sole occupant of the Hilux, an 18-year-old Burpengary man, was not injured.

Anyone with information or dashcam vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
