Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash at Tuchekoi this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 2:50pm a white Nissan Navara dual cab utility was headed north on Kenilworth Skyring Creek Road when it collided with a blue Holden Commodore travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the sedan was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the utility was also transported to the Sunshine coast University Hospital and is in a stable condition.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen either vehicle prior to the crash to contact police.
