Police are investigating a serious traffic incident on Oceanic Drive in Warana yesterday, June 6.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 4.30pm, an altercation occurred which led to a 17-year-old boy allegedly hitting a 16-year-old boy with a Volkswagen Transporter.
The 17-year-old boy was taken into custody and the 16-year-old was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The boys are known to each other.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident is urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
