Police Rush to Serious Burrum Heads Traffic Crash

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash in Burrum Heads yesterday, March 23.

Police were called to the intersection of Burrum Heads Road and Orchid Drive around 1pm to reports of a collision between a Kawasaki Ninja motorbike and a Kia Sportage.

The 55-year-old male rider of the motorbike was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 68-year-old female driver and her 79-year-old male passenger of the Kia, were not physically injured.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or relevant vision to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
