Police and emergency services are conducting a search for a lost camper in the Tooronga Falls area in Noojee, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told 18-year-old Korumburra man, Shane Richards, walked away from a campsite last night (30 June) around 11.00pm.
It is believed the man may have fallen into a river before returning to the campsite and then walking off into the bush.
Friends reported the man missing after he failed to return.
Police and emergency services have concerns for his welfare as the man’s clothing would be wet and he is not dressed appropriately for the weather.
Police, including Search and Rescue and the AirWing, along with the assistance of the State Emergency Service, are actively searching the areas surrounding the Toorongo Falls campsite.
