Police search for missing girl Caitlin

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing girl Caitlin.

The 14-year-old's disappearance is considered out of character and her family and police have concerns for her welfare.

Caitlin was last seen at her home on Haig Street, Ringwood about 3.30pm yesterday.

She has not contacted friends or loved ones since that time.

Caitlin was last seen wearing a pink Country Road crew neck jumper, a floral green and pink skirt and thongs.

Police have released an image of Caitlin in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Caitlin or with information is urged to call Ringwood Police Station on 9871 3000.
