Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Mooroolbark man Charles.
The 85-year-old was last seen in Clayton earlier today leaving a medical centre.
He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans and had his walking stick.
Charles is described as 175cm tall, solid build and grey hair.
It is believed Charles will be on foot and may be in the Melbourne, Boroondara, Monash, Yarra Ranges or Maroondah areas.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to medical conditions.
Police have released an image of Charles in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
