Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Warracknabeal man Doug.
The 43-year-old was last seen at a Watson Street address in Warracknabeal about 6.30am today.
There are concerns for Doug's welfare due to a recent medical episode which he requires treatment for.
Police and SES are currently conducting a search of the surrounding area in an effort to locate the missing man.
Investigators have released an image of Doug in the hope someone can provide information about his whereabouts.
Doug is described as Caucasian, with balding short brown hair and numerous tattoos on his arms and legs.
He left the area on foot and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who sights Doug is urged not to approach him and instead call Triple Zero (000) immediately or with anyone information about his whereabouts is urged to call Ararat Police Station (03) 5355 1500.
