Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Yarrambat man George.
The 82-year-old was last seen at his residence today, around 3.10pm.
George left home in a white 2009 Subaru Forrester wagon with the registration XDC 202.
Police and family are concerned for his welfare because he has dementia.
It's believed George may have travelled to Essendon or Arthurs Creek.
Images of George have been released in the hope someone may recognise him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees George or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Eltham Police Station on 9430 4500.
