Police are currently searching for a man who was last seen near water in Sorrento this morning.
It is understood the man intended on snorkelling at Sorrento back beach, near Ocean Beach Road, about 8.30am.
His friends raised the alarm when they noticed the 60-year-old Reservoir man did not return from his swim.
Local police, Air Wing, Search and Rescue Squad, Life Saving Victoria and State Emergency Service conducted an extensive search of the surrounding areas.
