Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Daniel Breen.
The 84-year-old was last seen at his North Warrandyte home about 9pm.
Police and family have concerns for Daniel's welfare as he has dementia.
He regularly goes on walks, particularly along the Yarra River and Stoney Creek areas.
Police have released an image of Daniel in the hope someone may have seen him.
Daniel is described as being about 165cm tall with grey thinning hair, a thin build and walks with a shuffle.
He was last seen wearing grey shorts, a two-tone grey and black t-shirt and shoes.
Anyone who sights Daniel or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Eltham Police Station on 9430 4500.
