The disappearance of the 19-year-old in April 2018 has been declared a Major Crime.

The NSW Police Force has deployed Dog Unit handler, Senior Constable Adam Aitken, and cadaver dog, Tilly, (pictured) to assist with the investigation.

Detective Inspector Billy Thompson, the operations manager of the Major Crime Investigation Branch, said yesterday that the use of the specialist dog was an example of SA Police using all avenues in order to provide answers in challenging cases.

"Matters such as this are never considered 'closed' by SA Police, and we continue to explore all investigational opportunities," he said.
