Police Seek Dashcam, CCTV in Medowie Fatal Crash

Police are appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage following a fatal crash in the state's north last month.

About 11.30am (Monday 25 November 2024), emergency services were called to Abundance Road, Medowie, following reports a motorcycle and motor vehicle had collided.

On arrival, officers attached to Port Stephens-Hunter Police District found the rider with life-threatening injuries.

Despite the efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, the 26-year-old man died at the scene.

The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured; however, was taken to the John Hunter Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police established a crime scene which was forensically examined.
