Police Seek Dashcam Footage, Witnesses After Balmain Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage following a crash in Sydney's inner west last weekend.

Between 7pm and 9pm on Sunday 10 November 2024, emergency services were called to Curtis Road near Spring Street, Balmain, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command attended and found a 39-year-old man with serious spinal injuries.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police would like to speak to the driver of a white hatchback seen in the area at the time of the crash.
