Police Seek Elderly Man Missing From Randwick

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from the Randwick area.

Michael Laver, aged 75, was last seen at a home on Botany Street, Randwick, about 11pm yesterday (Wednesday 19 March 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Michael's welfare as he lives with dementia and is a British national who is not familiar with the area.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, with grey short hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue short sleeved shirt, navy shorts, black thongs and a black watch on his left wrist.

Anyone with information about Michael's whereabouts are urged to contact Eastern Beaches Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
