Police Seek Help After Body Found In Plenty

Detectives from Banyule Nillumbik Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for information after a body was located in the Plenty Gorge Parklands in Plenty in October.

It is understood the unidentified man was found in Blue Lake on Tuesday 15 October about 3.40pm.

The man is perceived to be Asian, about 20-45 years of age, 172 centimetres tall, with black hair and stocky build.

He has a small scar or mark on his chest just above his right nipple.

He was wearing a grey 'Anko' hoodie, brown 'Anko' shorts, and black and white 'New Balance' runners.

Police have released a composite image of the man, along with images of his clothing, to assist with their enquiries.

Investigators have made extensive enquiries into identifying the man and will be conducting a further search at Blue Lake with assistance from the Water Police today (2 December).

An information caravan will also be set up in the area.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
