Police Seek Help: Marine Incident, Biggera Waters

Police have released an image of clothing in an appeal for public information to identify a woman who was reported missing in a creek at Biggera Waters on July 23.

The item of clothing was located on a footbridge near where the woman was last sighted.

The woman was last seen in Biggera Creek, near Hollywell Road and Morala Avenue just before 5pm and failed to resurface.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a slim build, aged in her late teens to early 20s.

Police divers completed a thorough search of the area yesterday, July 24, and were unable to locate anyone or any items of interest.

Water Police continue to conduct water searches to locate the woman.

Police are appealing to anyone who recognises the clothing and may know the identity of the woman, or has any information to assist in locating her, to immediately come forward.
