Police Seek Help To Find Missing Man At Chillagoe

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 52-year-old man missing from Chillagoe since Monday, September 30.

Wayne Spratt (pictured) was last seen on Market Street around 6.30pm then outside a post office on Queen Street shortly after (CCTV still pictured below) and has not been seen or heard from since.

He is described as Aboriginal, approximately 165cm tall, with brown eyes and black short curly hair and a short grey beard and moustache.

Wayne was last seen wearing a red and blue Indigenous cultural t-shirt with writing and a cultural pattern on the back, blue shorts and white and black thongs.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Police are appealing to Wayne and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
