Police are continuing the search for a man missing in the Cascade Gorge area today.
The man and his friends were swimming in the gorge yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the watering hole about 4:30pm when his friends noticed he was missing.
Police and SES personnel conducted a search of the watering hole and the surrounding area and failed to locate the man.
Police and SES resumed searching the area this morning.
Police divers will also assist with the search today.
The missing man is a 22-year-old man visiting Mackay.
